Vacuum vs Pressure
Pressure thermoforming uses compressed air to press the heated sheet onto the model and provides high available forming force. It can be useful for demanding geometries, dense or less permeable models and workflows where positive pressure is preferred. Pressure forming can provide excellent detail reproduction when the material is correctly heated and the model is properly prepared.
