The appliance may have been removed before it cooled fully, overstressed during removal or formed from material unsuitable for the application. Allow the recommended cooling cycle to finish and rough-trim excess material before attempting removal. Excessive twisting can permanently distort thin appliances even when the forming itself was accurate.
